To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an AUTOCAD Designer located in Mexico City.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Project Engineering the AUTOCAD Designer role involves being virtual for the time being with occasional socially distanced meetings at a NEXTracker office.

What a typical day looks like:

• Provide design support to develop tracker layouts, CAD blocks, mechanical sets, and full construction plan sets.
• Review pertinent site information, and design inputs, and assist in selecting appropriate product types based on site conditions.
• Work with a team of engineers located in our India office updating new product configurations and drafting standards and potentially developing automation procedures.
• Work with the Project Engineering team to conduct value engineering exercises to lower costs on an individual project basis.
• Coordinate with NEXTracker's Designers in other regions to create and update new product standards, design changes, and project-related issues.
• Learn topography analysis, and hydrology analysis, in order to determine the best tracker placement.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience Jr or mid in a similar position.
• Experience providing design support to the Project Engineers.
• Knowledge of site plans, sets of mechanical plans, foundation drawings, bill of materials, wind load analysis, value engineering, and other tasks.
• AUTOCAD experience.
