This position is in charge of creating constrained engineering and production plans, material plans and work-in-progress inventory rationalization, including sales in excess of invoicing, in order to improve service levels and optimize working capital. In this role you will collate and evaluate data pertinent to creating a constrained engineering plan (for engineered-to-order businesses) and production plan, using rough-cut and detailed capacity planning and links it to the demand plan.

Your responsibilities

• Multitasking, Leadership, Time Management skills, Customer Orientation and how to satisfy their needs & expectations, Meeting Project deadlines and motivating suppliers.
• Interface will all levels from peers to senior mgmt.
• Project Management - both how ABB manages large development programs, but also personal project management skills to keep your tasks on schedule.
• Responsible to develop RFQ packages, manage supplier timely response, consolidate.
• Coordinate Supplier Selection w/ NPI team members and Commodity Specialists for new Components.
• Using the NPI parts tracker liaison between R&D / Manufacturing on Product development / production ramp up.
• Develops methodology and processes for prioritization and scheduling of projects.
• Analyzes problems and determines root causes.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or related field or equivalent related.
• 4 years of experience working as a Supply Chain professional.
• Ability to make price comparisons / Knowledge in Apriori or similar.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.).
• Knowledge in SAP.
• Strong knowledge in New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Procurement or Fulfillment planning experience will be beneficial to understanding and applying data.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical drawings, software (AutoCAD & SolidWorks), interpretation of drawings and knowing suppliers.
• Purchasing/manufacturing experience.
• Advanced English level.
