The Virtual Assembly Simulation Engineer will work as part of a team dedicated to create and review various styles of digital simulations in order to support future plant process visualization and workstation optimization, targeting risk reduction in top loss areas. Proficient in Siemens Process Simulate software to analyze virtual human postures, vision, reach, head and hand clearance, relative to part position in vehicle and station working height. In addition, VA Sim engineer validates station 3D CAD and IE man assignments in Process Simulate, by incorporating a virtual moving line and when necessary, 3D tooling. The VA Sim personnel will also create proper documentation for the studies, track all studies, and report out to critical stakeholders the findings from the virtual analysis.

5 years at least of experience

Required Knowledge/Background:

-Siemens Process Simulate software, version 2016 to current, specifically for Human Simulation

-Teamcenter 11 (Manufacturing)

-Microsoft Office/Outlook including Excel, and Power Point

Recommended Knowledge/Background:

-Using Process Simulate software to apply tooling kinematics

-Navisworks 2018/2022

-AutoCAD 2D Layouts

-Cintoo

-Awareness of VR

-Awareness of Automotive process (General Assembly Process)
