We are looking for a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS, and providing accurate, timely financial reporting. This position plays a key role in month-end closing, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, fixed asset accounting, and tax compliance. The Senior Accountant will also support audits, process improvements, VAT recovery and mentor junior accounting staff.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

· Responsible for monthly and year-end closing activities to ensure deadlines are met.

· Monthly and Annually tax reconciliation.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax rules and regulations.

· Responsible for Fixed Assets activities.

· Ensure compliance with Mexican electronic accounting requirements (Contabilidad Electrónica), including timely preparation and submission of files (chart of accounts, trial balances, journal entries) to SAT. (Electronic accounting)

· Manage digital accounting processes in accordance with SAT guidelines, ensuring alignment with local tax codes and CFDI validation.

· Import & Export compliance.

· Perform monthly currency exchange calculations and revaluations of foreign currency balances in accordance with Mexican financial reporting standards and local regulations.

· Help External Auditor with ISSIF and SIPRED information.

· Support and coordination with VAT refund recovery.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting

· Knowledge in Manufacture Accounting

· Experience in the minimum of 5 plus years of experience required in the position

· Intermediate proficiency in both verbal and written English communication

· Proactive problem-solving approach

· Strong multi-tasking skills; organized and attentive to details

· Proficient in Excel and Accounting software( Contpaqi, SAP, ect.,)

Work Place: VESTA PARK Querétaro (Industrial Zone of Aeropuerto)
