We are seeking an experienced and proactive Customer Planning Manager to lead our customer service and planning team at the Sanhua Mexico facility. The role is responsible for managing customer demand, coordinating internal production planning, and ensuring on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, have a strong manufacturing background, and proven team leadership experience. Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
Lead the customer planning team to ensure accurate demand forecasting and order management.
Serve as the main interface between customers and internal departments (production, logistics, quality, sales).
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure responsiveness and satisfaction.
Translate customer forecasts into internal production and material planning.
Coordinate production and shipping schedules to meet delivery targets.
Monitor and improve KPIs such as OTD (On-Time Delivery), forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
Analyze and resolve issues related to order fulfillment, delays, or demand changes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in customer service and planning.
Participate in S&OP and production planning meetings.
Train, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure strong performance and collaboration.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in customer planning or supply chain roles in manufacturing.
At least 2 years of team management experience.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multitasking, analytical, and coordination skills.
Experience in the automotive or HVAC industry is preferred.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and supply chain best practices.
Familiarity with EDI and customer-specific logistics platforms (e.g., OEM portals).
