About the Role:
We are seeking a client-focused Legal Assistant whose primary responsibility will be to follow up with clients and collect and organize all necessary documentation and information for the accurate and timely processing of immigration cases. This position plays a key role in maintaining clear communication and providing ongoing support to clients throughout their legal journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide and support clients throughout the document collection process
Request, receive, and organize required client documents
Maintain regular and professional communication with clients regarding the status of their case
Manage calendars, reminders, and appointments related to legal casework
Keep client records organized and up to date in both physical and digital formats
Collaborate with the legal team to ensure all case information is complete and submitted on time
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, document management, or a similar administrative role
Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English (REQUIRED)
High attention to detail, excellent organization, and ability to handle multiple tasks
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive client information
Administrative skills, including calendar management, email communication, and task follow-ups
Empathetic and respectful interaction with clients
Basic proficiency with digital tools and document management systems
