What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Hands-on user of CAD, PDM, and ERP software. Develops Autodesk Inventor 3D part and assembly models/drawings using traditional and sophisticated table-driven part methods
• Key member of product cost improvement teams. Readily accepts guidance from suppliers and internal operations to optimize product designs, performance, and cost
• Generates new product quotations using cost estimation templates and supplier requests for quote. Translates customer drawings into CAD models and temporary drawings to support product costing function
• Complete product BOM and supplier information for submission to regulatory services. Tracks status of submissions for RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals and other customer requested regulatory declarations
• Act as liaison between Lifecycle engineering and other business functions to detail and resolve documentation issues
• Provide back up support to ECO technical drawing documentation needs
• Perform other such duties as may be directed by the Lead Product Engineer

You have:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Engineering required
• Proficient use of 3D CAD software for product design and sustainment functions. Autodesk inventor and / or Keyshot preferred
• Use of traditional measurement tools such as but not limited to calipers, pitch gages and optical comparators
• Experience with PDM and ERP systems, JDE preferred
