Proto SMT Development Technician (day shift )

As Proto SMT Development Technician, you will play a key role in Aptiv's in this new project. Supporting Manufacturing Engineers.

Your Role

• Manage all SMT Technologies & Standards
• Define and document the SMT Equipment Programing procedure
• Participate on the training documentation packages for SMT processes
• Define and document all preventative and necessary maintenance procedures for all SMT equipment
• Test and Approve SMT material's related (i.e. Solder Paste) for processes
• Control and manage the "Required Practices" for all SMT processes
• Perform ADP (Advanced Development Process) when needed
• Define and follow-up OOE, CPH Metric, Utilization / Capacity and CPP (Cost Per 1k Placements)
• Develop and support technology roadmaps related to SMT value stream
• Lead the SMT Material Deviation Approval process
• MSL Material handling & controlling tools
• Define Critical Spare Parts List process
• Perform LSR at CMA (outsourcing or suppliers)
• SMT IT related items - Use and maintain
• Lead and Maintain LSR procedure / document
• Manage Technology reviews with AVL suppliers (Regular benchmarking activities)

Your Background

• More than 2 years of experience in electronics assembly (preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude, ability to pick up new tasks quickly
• Ability to shift between tasks quickly
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Energetic, self-motivated, proactive, and customer focused working style
• Business fluent English is a plus
