Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.

REQUIREMENTS
• Education: College
• Languages: Bilingual English / Spanish
• Specialty: Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronic / Aerospace
• Certifications: Bachelor's degree
• Minimum experience: 3 Year
• Area: Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering
COMPETENCIES
• 3D CAD Software knowledge: High (CREO, Space Claim or similar)
• Engineering Changes Control knowledge: High
• GD&T: High
• Project Management: High
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform Sustaining Engineering functions in Hermosillo.
• Create 3-D Models, Create Engineering Orders, Implement Drawing Changes, proficient with use of CAD systems (CREO preferred).
• Re-designs, engineers and modifies existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, development engineers or other personnel.
• Root cause and corrective action assistance on design related issues which have resulted in customer complaints, manufacturing, or supplier rejections.
• Maintains existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques.
• knowledge of connector components and materials in the aerospace industry.
• Exposure to test-lab environments and procedures.
• Must be a self-managed team player with superior time management skills.
• Proficient in communication skills as well as fluent in English.
• 3 (more) year experience (preferred).
