Kiewit Mexico is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Piping PID Design professional. In this role, you will be responsible for designing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) for various construction projects across North America.

Responsibilities

• Learn and prepare piping and instrumentations diagrams. Understand diagrams, libraries, database, procedures, and tools to work on SP PID or the design software selected by the project.
• Collaborate with supervision with team members, designers, other engineers, and the construction team to optimize design.
• Perform design deliverables in accordance with industry codes and standards, contract requirements, and company standards.
• Utilize the appropriate Kiewit resources (procedures, toolboxes, software) to create deliverables.
• Utilizes industry codes and standards (e.g., NOMS, CFE, PEMEX, ASME, API, ANSI) to complete assignments that are large and/or complex. Advises others on proper application of industry standards. Consults others when encountering advanced or complex conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• +1 years of experience in Piping PID design or related field
• Autocad, Microstation and Smart Plant PID is a plus
• English Proficient (C2)
• Understanding of engineering calculations and formulas
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
