Job Description

Define equipment specs as well as process standard for EOLT's,Plan and implement new improvements coming from production lines and new projects, desing and validate new equipmets for new projects or new techlogies, support to the machine debugging and setup during the Pre- PSO and PSO phase and the continous improvement during the production phase.

Support the full release process + Develop machine specifications (Design and realese machines, according to ergonomic and security Continental guidelines). + Support Solicit competitive quotes. + Participate and colaborate on the design and product development stages and revisions + Support to follow up the construction of the equipment at the supplier + Support to finilize the release of the equipment and tools of the specific machine according to customer specs as well as according to the internal quality requirements. + Support to Run a pre-PSO. + Support to Run a PSO. + Provide training to a maintenance team leader at the time of PSO. + Support to Engineering Changes (ECP's) + Provide the initial PFMEA or Master PFMEA for the critical equipment

Support the Customer complains or guarantee with: + Desing new tools and pokayoke

Reverse PFMEA

Improve and streamline the production lines: + VSM/VSD + Root Cause Analisys + Reverse PFMEA + Estándar Work

Generate PFMEA in conjunction with Lessons Learned + Submit PFMEA for each critical operations line following the guideline from the department + Implement Lessons Learned in the PFMEA document + Implement Lessons Learned in the responsible production lines and new lines

LPAs, Deviations, Corrective Actions. + Complete LPAs on a monthly basis by the responsible IE engineer following the guidelines + Close or extend all deviations + Close all corrective actions as listed in the Plant Quality system + Suport for analysis to scrap reduction + Suport for generate: 8 D's, 5 Why's and R&R

Implement improvements, new products additions and programming of EOLTs.

Responsible of all EOLT on the plant maintaining them in good condition and with minimum reject rate within the defined CT.

Complete training per the expert training list + Complete the training for experts or basic per the department expert training list + Provide basic training to other colleagues in IE based on the expert training list + Support in the problems with the machines and process issues. + Recomend Spare parts in the system.

Continuous improvement. + Line balancing + Optimized line layout + Improve the current machines and also if there are equipment that finishes the live time create a Financial Analysis for new.one.

Qualifications

English intermediate/advanced - desirable

Industrial Engineer, Electronic Engineer , Mechatronic Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer or Mechanical

2 years of experience in a similar position

+Labview software knowledge intermediate/advanced is a must

+ PLC (Siemens) - Tia portal intermediate/advanced

+ Vision systems programming, desirable

+PLC (beckoff) - TwinCAT software knowledge a plus

+Electrical test experience highly desirable

+Other programming languages or software is a plus

Problem solving skills & team work

Knowledge of manufacturing process, development cycle, philosophy techniques

Lean Manufacturing Tools

IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
