We're currently looking for a Virtual Assembly Engineer to join our growing team of engineering and ergonomics professionals. Details about the role are as follows:
Tasks and Work Priorities
- Meet Program Deliverables on time and schedule
- Provide regular (daily, weekly, etc.) Tracking Status to the designated Team Leader
- 3D and Physical Validations of the New Installation, Retooling, Rework or updating performed over the Operations at the Engine Assembly Line.
- Create Simulations over the Engine Assembly Line Operations by using Process Simulate software.
- Manage within master timing charts, with corrective actions and recovery plans identified where needed.
- Capture and register for all tryouts, runoffs and quality impacts for the project implementations and engineering updates/upgrades.
- Accomplish the department objectives addressed by the client using problem solving technique.
- Attend designated meetings to provide status reports
Requirements
- Strong knowledge on problem resolution techniques in the automotive industry (5Why's, 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, etc.)
- The ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager level management
- Strong Negotiation skills to drive timing targets
- Working under pressure and time availability
- Teamwork, proactive, with sense of urgency & customer service attitude to drive customer satisfaction (internal & external)
- Strong communication skills to interact with different level of members within the organization
- Organizational and planning skills
Professional Experience/Required Knowledge
- Electrical-mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineer Degree
- + 2 Years' Experience in manufacturing
- Automotive customer portals knowledge (as desired)
- Experience in Automotive industry company (as desired)
- English Advance, fluent written and spoken technical English
- Experience interpreting Blue Prints (Autocad Preferred)
- Experience in 3D Modeling (Catia V5 Preferred)
- Experience in 3D Assembly Line Simulations (Process Simulate Preferred)
