Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Functions

• Quality experience working on assemblylines, metal stamping & CNC processes -painting and plating is a plus-
• Experience in the preparation ofprocedures, test specifications, cost control planning and self-inspection
• Assist Quality manger inestablishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
• Analyze failure, corrective, andpreventive action to respond to customer complaints.
• Background in development of teammembers, end equipment improvements
• Demonstrable experience in withprocess capability, design validation, corrective action, and working withexternal suppliers to improve quality, performing audits, and maintenance ofquality documentation, PPAP's, FMEA, control plan.
• Responsible for continualimprovement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5's, Kaizen, leanmethods, and to ensure safe operation in facilities.
• Maintain high employee morale anddiscipline and expected to generate performance appraisals or any disciplinaryaction he deems necessary to ensure that products and processes comply with therelevant requirements of the quality management system for the efficientrunning of the operation.
• Interface with Product Engineer andManufacturing to ensure transfer to production of new products are inaccordance with approved data.
• Conduct audits, including closingout audit finding reports and determinate proper corrective and preventiveactions.

Requirements

• Degreein engineer, minimum 5 years hand-on experience as Quality Engineer, Masterdegree is a plus
• Porvenexperience of Quality Assurance (automotive or electric)
• Staticaltools (required) and Six Sigma experience (preferable)
• Havea good command or written English and oral communicative skill (85%)
• Highservice and teamwork attitude, good judgement with sense of responsibility,initiative and integrity
• Goodoffice software, e.g., word, excel, SAP, etc.
• Teamplayer with creative, can-do attitude.
