Descripción
Responsible for establishing a continuous process of inspection, testing, analysis and problem resolution to ensure that quality standards can be met on an ongoing basis across a large organization. Develop and lead the implementation of quality assurance philosophy and strategies. Advances and develops quality improvement projects to improve overall quality, cost and efficiency. Introduce new technology and method.

Key responsibilities
- Establishes quality testing policies and processes in operational areas.
- Develops and establishes all quality assurance policies and programs with the support of the areas involved in the operational part.
- Advises programs that lead to improvements in quality, costs and overall efficiency.
- Advises management on the general quality standard of products and processes.
- Manages and monitors the training needs of all personnel under his/her responsibility.
- Follow up on specific client requirements and review global client indicators.
- Support in the execution of new product development activities.
- Coordinate client audit visits.
- Negotiate quality aspects related to the company's products with clients.
- Monitoring and planning of the department's budget.
- Authority to stop processes when product quality is at risk.
- Monitoring of improvement plans related to the KPI's of the quality operations area.
- Management level support to maintain the IATF 16949:2026 quality system
What we're looking for
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- 10 years of experience in Quality area
- 5+ years of experience as Manager level
- Knowledge Required: Demonstrated Knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning, Inspection Equipment and Techniques, Source Failure Analysis, Statistical Distributions, Assembly Processes, Problem Resolution, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance and Design Software. Six Sigma (green and black belt), customer certification
- Full understanding of Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Availability to travel
- Proficient English
