Gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement and learn by doing tasks as directed to support ABB operations and enhance personal education/employment opportunities. Carry out analysis of critical and/or short materials to prioritize and reduce the impact of shortages in the ODB, RCL, Eagle and Smart Rack production lines, ensuring the timely arrival of materials. You will need to identify and eliminate the root cause of the shortages. You must be in continuous communication with internal customers and external providers (domestic and foreign).

Your responsibilities

• Review the report of shorts to issue risk alerts with an impact of line stoppage.
• Direct communication with suppliers (telephone and/or e-mail) to monitor compliance with supplier delivery commitment dates.
• Expedite shipment and delivery date.
• Track shipments by parcels and share import documents.
• Interaction with Traffic and Logistics for material collection processes.
• Monitoring of the receipt process in the Materials Warehouse.
• Update of DOR KPI's graphs on the floor.
• Issuance and monitoring of Fletch documents for material deviations.

Your background

• Active student preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical-Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related careers.
• English language conversational level.
• Management of MS Office (Excel, Macros, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of SAP (desirable)
• Analytical with good communication.
• Teamwork.
