PROFILE

• Minimum university degree in Accounting, Finance or related career.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in industrial controlling or costs and buget control, with a strong background in manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly.
• Fluent in English
• Experience working in plant or manufacturing sites.
• Ability in budget control.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a strong plus.
• Position based at our plant in Acatlán de Juárez, Jalisco.

Responsabilidades del puesto

• Lead the monthly financial closing process for the plant, preparing results, conducting variance analysis versus Budget, and providing meaningful commentary in coordination with operational teams. Present findings to the local management (Plant director/ Head of controlling) and report to Group Headquarters in France.
• Act as a key advisor by deep-diving into financial and operational data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and translating them into actionable recommendations.
• Maintain and update reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and facilitate regular performance reviews with operational managers. Follow up on action plans to support a culture of continuous improvement.
• Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts in alignment with both local and Group expectations.
• Conduct in-depth ad hoc analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making, as requested by finance or plant leadership.
• Take a proactive role in improving controlling tools, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and insight.
• Partner closely with operational teams to instill a financial and cost-awareness culture, offering clear, data-driven advice to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with other plant controllers across other locations to benchmark best practices, tools, processes, and key performance figures.
