What will you do?

Join us in the Procurement Execution Center (PEC) as a Solutions Developer as part of a diverse team of data and procurement individuals. In this position, you will be developing and maintaining applications, along with enhancing automation processes to guarantee the delivery of successful, low-human interaction, user-friendly, and efficient applications for Procurement. This role will work with multiple types of business problems that leads to best-in-class solutions, spreading across multiple functional areas of expertise.

How will you do it?

• Serve as the main technical resource for any automation related requirement.
• Clearly articulate and effectively influence both business and technical teams.
• Develop applications that with a backend that enables Data Visualization, Reporting, and Advanced Data Analytics, striving for optimal performance across all data models.
• Create business workflows through Power Automate or equivalent.
• Design and build applications using Power Apps or Web Applications, create workflows with Power Automate, and manage its data ingestion into SQL/Sharepoint. Once deployed, will require daily and weekly support.
• Develop application and automation solutions for procurement challenges, resulting in significant time savings.
• Assemble large, complex applications and business workflows that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.

• Setting standards and best practices for the development of solutions.
• Manages the DevOps pipeline deployment model, including automated testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with system architecture, methods, standards, and practices, and participate in their creation.
• Maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models along with corresponding metadata.
• Performs the necessary data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and coding of business rules to support annual Procurement bidding activities.
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
• Collaborate to build the infrastructure required for optimal business solutions and applications. Including the backend of the data which may come from a wide variety of data sources using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Sharepoint, etc.
• Other Procurement duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar)
• 4+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, software engineering, power platform development or other relevant roles.
• Ability to resolve business problems by proposing and implementing tactical/Strategic solutions.
• SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases.
• Python knowledge for business process automation purposes.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Sharepoint etc.)
• Knowledge in DevOps, application development, DW/DL concepts, data marts, data modeling, data quality/stewardship, distributed systems.
• Experience building and optimizing applications as well as architecture, and data sets.

• Azure Power Apps certification preferred (PL-900 / PL-500)
• ETL/ELT development experience is a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience with object-oriented function scripting languages: Python, Scala, C#, etc.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Relevant experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, git/repo management)
• Due to the global nature of the role, proficiency in English language is a must
