Position Summary
This global IT Vendor Management team member works as part of a cross-functional team to assist with the management of vendor transactions supporting the sourcing, contract execution, budget planning and vendor performance management. The team member will have frequent interactions with Legal, Supply Chain, Cyber Security and Digital & IT finance teams. Supports the Parker Global Digital and Information Technology Vendor strategy.
Is a focal point for managing enterprise Digital & IT budgeting, reporting and planning for corporate EMEA operations (Hemel). Will participate in the annual budget planning process, monthly reporting and overall visibility of corporate Digital & IT spend in EMEA (primarily Hemel).
Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with the design, build and execution of the global Vendor Management strategy and best practices that improve operational efficiencies and lead times.
• Support commercial negotiations with vendors, helps ensure Parker is using modern terms and conditions.
• Assesses vendor performance and lifecycle management.
• Leads HPTs to optimize Vendor Management efficiencies and productivity improvements.
• Develop and maintain an IT Vendor Management dashboard to create a one-stop view of IT vendor spend metrics for management review and use in decision making.
• Reviews and approves D&IT purchase orders within authorized limits, as required, while adhering to applicable government laws (domestic/international), Company policies, procedures and goals and corporate supply chain policies and guidelines.
• Provide financial budgeting, allocation and ad- hoc reporting of corporate Digital & IT spending for EMEA (primarily based in Hemel). Working with the Corporate Digital & IT finance team to provide support for monthly and ad- hoc reporting, annual planning process and cost allocations. Liaison to Hemel Managers on accruing pending invoice activity.
o Includes purchase order activity in support of budgets and proper expense accruals. This includes invoices paid against a PO to date and remaining PO commitment and timeline of expense occurrence.
• Monitors purchase requisitions and purchase order status of corporate IT purchase orders, develops reporting to track the timeliness of processing requisitions, and monthly spend.
Qualifications
Education
• Previously held procurement, vendor management or finance role in other organizations, which involved operational, analytical, and reporting responsibilities
• Working knowledge of governance, compliance, policies, processes and procedures
• Ensuring vendor compliance with company standards; assessing vendor performance
• Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, excellent decision- making skills and ability to multi-task

Qualifications
Education
- 4 Year Degree or Equivalent
- Finance or IT Degree preferred.
