Identifies issues and suggests courses of action and makes recommendations for improving operations.

Detailed Description:List the primary duties and responsibilities required to perform this job in order of importance; typically 4 to 6 key responsibilities.
- Develops and manages profitability analysis across multiple lines of business.
- Enhances and maintains standardized approaches in analyzing, evaluating, and obtaining approvals for financial support of RFP's, bids, and proposed contracts.
- Evaluates actual performance on contracts vs. proposed.
- Coordinates across functions and business units to obtain information and garner input on key assumptions and variables.
- Supports development of unit's annual budget, and tracks and analyzes variances throughout year.
- Monitors progress toward objectives.
- Identifies issues and suggests courses of action, makes recommendations for improving operations, and resource allocation.
- Performs additional strategic analytical functions.
- Conducts detail end of period review of financials to ensure proper reporting.
- Monitors sales and margins to ensure appropriate billing margin is earned.
- Supervises and assigns work to staff.

☒ Bachelors Degree - Accounting, finance, or business related.
☒ Masters Degree - Accounting, finance, or business related.

- 5 years required, 7 years preferred of financial analysis experience; including discounted cash flow.
- 2 years required, 3 years preferred of data query extraction and analytics experience.
- 1 year required, 2 years preferred of profit and loss and balance sheet forecasting and management experience.

- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex analytical data into easily understandable format.
- Presenting to director and VP level management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - High proficiency in Excel.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Managing and organizing large amounts of data.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Report writing utilizing Hyperion and Oracle.
- Must be able to be self-directed, take responsibility for projects, and see projects through to completion.
- Short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis is preferred.
