Under the general direction of the Sr. Staff Accountant, this position is mainly focused on posting journal entries, updating balance sheet and P&L accounts, and performing reconciliations. The primary responsibilities of the position include processing journal entries, assisting with various reconciliations, payroll, and social security compliance, compiling and analyzing information and data to meet local requirements, managing travel expenses and refunds, and being responsible for billing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded promptly, assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly closings.
• Preparing different reconciliations including insurance, prepaid expenses, payroll records, depreciation, etc, as well as assisting with social security compliance.
• Gathering information to make sure the company complies with local regulations (i.e. Repse, RNIE, e-invoices).
• Ensuring travel expenses and refunds are correctly processed and paid out on time.
• Responsible for billing processes.

EDUCATION:

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.

EXPERIENCE:

· 2-4 years' experience in accounting.
