Industrial Network/Security Lead Mexico Operations:
Industrial Networking and Security is the foundation of our digital manufacturing transformation. In this key role, you'll be responsible for leveraging your technical domain knowledge and cybersecurity experience, to design, configure, deploy, and monitor reliable communications at our Mexican Operations.
A strong foundation in Industrial Networking and Server Management are core to the role. Ensuring resiliency of our communications, by maintaining OT Cybersecurity Controls, policy requirements and monitoring round out this position.
Responsibilities include:
• Ensure factory compliance to applicable cyber security and systems infrastructure requirements and standards
• Develop and maintain relevant technical documents related to cyber security and systems infrastructure such as Architecture, Network topology, general procedures, and guidelines.
• Analyze and access vulnerabilities in the site infrastructure, ensure effectiveness of available tools and countermeasures to remedy detected vulnerabilities.
• Access Management - Coordinate, Prioritize, and Integrate Best Practices for remote access to OT Devices
• Participate and/or lead projects to help teams define requirements for Industrial Networks, System Architectures, Industrial Data Centers (IDCs), and OT Hardware/Software selections.
• Leads the implementation of new IT/OT technologies.
• Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of products, services, standards, newly developing IT/OT technologies, trends, evolutions, and practices
• Device EOL Management
• Firewall rule management
• Firmware updates for all routers & switches
• Server Management: backups, patching, security monitoring
Skills / Experience:
• BS in Engineering, Network & Systems Engineering (Information Technology/Electrical/ Electronic) or technology related field
• 7+ years of experience in network administration.
• Demonstrated abilities in implementing new OT networks, as well as manage established networks.
• Partner management & oversight
• Network+, Security+ certifications or equivalent;
• Siemens Scalance and Ruggedcom experience a plus
• Sound knowledge of Operating Systems, server management; database administration a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with:
o patching program for IoT/OT devices and associated systems
o network protocols and ports
o network devices
