Lead communication of Quality topics with customers, support production activities, coordinate Supplier Quality actions and administer the Quality Management System. Sr CQE will use an advanced product quality development system, such as APQP and be responsible for proactively improving all aspects of quality with statistical and analytical tools in a Lean Manufacturing environment. Possess technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and leadership.

Description
The following functions and responsibilities are informative and non-limiting in nature. The company reserves the right to add responsibilities as deemed necessary for the management and support of the company.
- Supports the resolution of production quality problems on time to meet the customer requirements
- Work effectively with test, design, product and planning engineers, regional quality engineers, regional planners, regional technical sales representatives and marketing representatives to solve customer challenges and provide fast responses.
- May partner with line quality engineers and management teams in layered process audits and internal audits.
- Follow procedure for control on non-conforming parts in production.
- Assisting clients during audits with the aim of coming to a production release.
- Work with customers to understand their specific requirements and then draft plans to fully satisfy their requirements.
- Perform warranty analysis and identify trends.
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action
- Responsible for maintaining and continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
- Manage containment actions for Customer concerns and quality proactive notifications (including customer sorting & Quality Alerts).
- Manage additional controls with Engineering and Operations to ensure quality products.
- Manage quality RMA process, review, analyze trends, prepare reports and communicate.
- Support the Quality Inspectors, Technicians and Engineers to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
Qualifications

- Disciplined and results-oriented work ethic.
- Strong knowledge with statistical tools such as SPC, Cpk Studies, Gauge R&R, etc.
- Previous experience developing, using and maintaining Control Plans, PFMEA'S, Standard Work Instructions.
- Data-driven, objective and fact-based.
- Must be able to work within accelerated product development schedules.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Strong background in client interaction, corrective actions, and leading work teams with a high sense of urgency.
Hands-on, 100% floor-oriented professional with expertise in data-driven decision-making, including databases, Pareto analysis, and trend analysis. Skilled in root cause analysis and essential quality tools.

- Quality Tools: CORE TOOLS, PDCA, ISO, Self-Assessment Center, Customer Audits.
- Certifications: Internal Auditor ISO-9000, IATF-16949.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineer or a related Engineering discipline.
