We are seeking an experienced-on Injection / Extrusion / Extrusion Blow Molding Technician to join our team in the Beverage / Bottling / Packaging / Automotive Industry. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with injection molding, Extrusion and Extrusion Blow Molding machinery, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components of injection and extrusion systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing tools.
Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic parts of injection and extrusion machinery, including fixtures, systems, conveyors, and peripheral equipment.
Modify, diagnose, and operate injection and extrusion equipment to maintain continuous and efficient production.
Maintain and upgrade industrial control systems to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
Generate detailed reports, complete work orders, and accurately document parts, materials, and repair activities.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and safe machine operation practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in plastic process engineering, with specialized training from Husky (a plus).
Preferably 4+ years of practical process engineering experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude for process setup and maintenance of molding equipment, including robotics, injection molding machines, extrusion machines, extrusion blow molding machines, molds, and heat control systems.
Proficiency with analysis and quality tools such as Six Sigma, Control Charts, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, Pareto Analysis, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Ability to interpret and work with 2D and 3D technical drawings and schematics.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving manufacturing process issues.
Skilled at troubleshooting both state-of-the-art and aging equipment to optimize production performance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interpreting technical manuals, business correspondence, and customer communications clearly and effectively.
Willingness and ability to work hands-on in a 24/7 plastics manufacturing environment, with a flexible schedule (5 days/week).
Self-motivated, proactive, and ambitious about implementing process improvements, with documented success in process optimization.
Excellent team player with problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform under pressure.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Current Passport and USA visa documents, and driver's license up to date and valid.
Willingness to work overseas and adapt to diverse operational environments.
