We are looking for a Data Engineer III (México ???? and Colombia ????) with +5 years of experience in building efficient and scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Azure tools. In this role, you will work closely with data engineering leads to define modern data architectures, optimize data processing workflows, and ensure information is available, reliable, and ready for business analysis and machine learning use cases. This role requires deep expertise in ETL processes, SQL, and Power BI, along with solid experience in dimensional modeling and data quality/governance practices.

What will you do? ???

• Design and implement data pipelines using Azure services.
• Develop and maintain robust ETL processes to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Build and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for large-scale datasets.
• Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with other teams (e.g., data science, software engineering, business intelligence) to align data solutions with business needs.

What are we looking for? ????

• +5 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure tools (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, etc.).
• Proficient in ETL processes, SQL, and data modeling techniques.
• Proven experience with Power BI – report building, DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Good understanding of modern data architecture design, ideally cloud-native.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration.
• College Degree
• English B2 advance or C1/C2.
