We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced buyer to join our team in the metal-mechanical industry.

The ideal candidate will have s solid background in procurement, strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.

Responsabilities:

• Coordinates purchasing activities and processes purchase reqs in a timely manner.
• Manage MRP and/or manual reqs, analyzes demand to determine need, sends out RFQ's for price and availability.
• Monitors supplier delivery.
• Negotiates price/volume/delivery dates. Processes RMA's.
• Expedites and reschedules as necessary to meet production requirements.
• Responsible for resolving AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation.
• May research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long lead time parts.
• Implementation of engineering changes, interpretation of procurement policies, process improvement projects, contract negotiation and approval of PPV's.

Requirements:

• Minimun 2-3 years of experience as a buyer in the metal-mechanical or automotive industry.
• Advanced english (spokern and written).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related field preferred.
