Ensure compliance with customs regulations in Mexico, the U.S., and other countries in the Americas.
Submit files such as the Importer Security Filing (ISF) to U.S. Customs in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate internal and external audits related to international trade and customs compliance.
Create and manage import and export documentation both inside and outside the SAP system.
Review and archive all customs documentation in accordance with fiscal and legal requirements in the region.
Manage and update certificates of origin under trade agreements such as USMCA, MERCOSUR, and CAFTA-DR.
Follow up on international shipments (track & trace), ensuring on-time deliveries to all regional warehouses.
Support the resolution of transportation issues and freight claims.
Oversee regional transportation and logistics providers, evaluating performance and contractual compliance.
Review customer and carrier portals, and process transportation and customs broker invoices.
Generate ground transportation reports and special operations metrics for regional warehouses.
Actively participate in conferences, training sessions, and meetings on logistics regulations and best practices.
Manage the EASY4PRO portal for the region.
Requirements:
University degree in Business, International Trade or Logistics.
English advanced level.
Experience in similar position.
Automotive industry experience.
Experience in plastic materials and plastic processing.
Knowledge in SAP.
Organization and Time Management.
Knowledge of Mexican Customs Rules and Regulations US.
Knowledge of Anexo 24, IVA certification, CTPAT.
