At PwC, our business application consulting professionals help organizations optimize operational efficiency and achieve strategic goals through the implementation and ongoing support of SAP solutions. As part of our Application Evolution Services (AES) team, you will work on enhancing and maintaining business-critical applications that support global clients.

As an SAP Payroll Consultant, you will focus on analyzing client needs, configuring and integrating payroll solutions, and providing functional support to ensure compliant and efficient payroll operations in various countries (Mexico, LATAM, or US Payroll).

Available Role: Experienced Associate

Experience Requirement: 

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Payroll (Employee Central Payroll or ECC/S4 Payroll)
• Participation in implementation or functional support projects
• Country-specific payroll experience in Mexico, LATAM, or the US is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation and support projects for SAP Payroll (Employee Central Payroll or ECC/S/4HANA)
• Configure payroll rules, control center logic, and compliance with country-specific legal frameworks
• Provide functional support for payroll calculations, tax reporting, and validation activities
• Assist in integration with SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, and other modules such as FI-CO
• Ensure data integrity and synchronization across systems
• Deliver documentation, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and assist in end-user training
• Handle post-go-live support and ticket resolution within SLA timelines
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams in global delivery environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
• 2+ years of practical experience with SAP Payroll
• Professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
• Functional knowledge of payroll processes, time evaluation, and statutory reporting

Preferred Certifications:

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
• SAP HCM (Payroll ECC) Certification
• ITIL Foundation Certification (nice to have)

Skills & Attributes

• English Proficiency: C1 – Advanced
• Functional and technical knowledge of SAP SSFF Employee Central
• Strong functional expertise in SAP Payroll (LATAM or US track)
• Knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance per country (ISR, IMSS, BSI, etc.)
• Analytical mindset and effective incident resolution capabilities
