About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SET) to lead the design and implementation of test strategies that ensure the highest level of product quality. As a key contributor in our development lifecycle, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test frameworks, conducting manual and whitebox testing, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure our products meet client needs. You'll also review system requirements, track QA metrics, and mentor other engineers in test patterns and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites
- Perform manual and exploratory testing as needed
- Review code and contribute to software quality standards
- Analyze systems and recommend improvements
- Create documentation including test plans, flowcharts, and diagrams
- Lead and mentor in test strategy and execution
- Collaborate on CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in software testing and QA
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficient in C# (required), with experience in Python and/or JavaScript (a plus)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Test planning, manual and whitebox testing
- Writing and executing test cases
- UI and API automation tools (e.g., FlaUI, Playwright, Postman, SoapUI)
- CI/CD pipelines and build tools
- SQL and Visual Studio
- Agile methodologies and best practices (TDD, BDD, Scrum)
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, and Visual Studio Code
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
- Verbal and written English language proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6, Gatling)
- Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with React and unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest, Jest)
- Prior experience as a Subject Matter Expert on software under test
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as vSphere
