Mission:
Hitachi Energy Grid Integration is hiring a Spanish speaking Service Sales & Tender Specialist based in Mexico to support our growing North America Service business. This position is responsible for sales pipeline and proposals of our Service offering supporting our Power Quality Systems encompassing - SVC / STATCOM / SeriesCaps, and our HVDC Systems. Our Service portfolio includes Extended Warranty, Service Contracts, Break Fix Repair, Upgrades, Spare Parts, 24/7 Phone Support, and Cyber Security.
Responsibilities:
You will work as part of our Grid Integration organization, which serves utility, industrial, renewable energy, and other customers with products and services to help transport electricity efficiently and reliably while maintaining power quality and control. You will be focused on our Mexican and Canadian customers and installed base.
Strategically identify and target customers for Service offers
Proactively engage with customers for upgrade projects and services opportunities
Manage and report on sales pipeline and status of opportunities
Coordinate with stakeholders and initiative proposal process
Campion customer technical and commercial requirements
Deliver, negotiate, and close opportunities with the customer
Provide order handoff to project execution team
Focus on improving proposal efficiency and quality driving process improvements
Qualifications:
Must be fluent in English. French is an asset.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated engineering, sales, and/or proposal experience in Power Systems or Heavy Industrial as part of an engineering, project or service business.
Experience with Power Systems / Power Conversion and related Maintenance procedures.
Working knowledge of commercial and legal terms and conditions
Knowledge of HVDC / FACTS devices and their grid application
Experience utilizing SalesForce.com
