Job Description

Working as a Product Development Analyst at Danfoss Climate Solution, you will focus on supporting Product Development Solutions which involves CAD and BOM activities for our Condensing Unit Product making sure due dates to release in Production will meet the targets in accordance with established standards and Business strategy.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
  • Support all Engineering activities (New product development and Sustaining) inside Condensing Unit Department. •
  • Create, revise and modify CAD drawings, models, and assemblies using Creo and Solidworks.•
  • Upload documents in the MRP system and help to make changes to BOMs. •
  • Support Bill of Material (BOM) and drawing maintenance. •
  • Help to ensure modifications to existing products respect the change procedures outlined by the Platform. •
  • Ability to use the Danfoss PDM software for object control. •
  • Must be able to check in, check out, search, create, and enter object attributes.
  • for CAD files not stored in a PDM software, respect the rules outlined by the Engineering department to ensure their storage is maintained without corruption. •
  • Provide drafting checking service to other designers, as required, for consistency and adherence to established internal company guidelines and ANSI Y14.5M GD&T standards. •
  • Experience in sheet metal design • Closely monitor all aspects of job functions looking for methods to reduce throughput time, reduce administrative issues and paperwork.
  • Manage design, qualification testing (if necessary), and Engineering document creations.
  • Support engineering technical document (Specifications, Drawings, BOMs) maintenance and improvements. •
  • Ensure all final designs are approved by the Chief Engineer and/or the Product Engineer(s) before implementation. •
  • Must display the highest level of critical thinking in order to weigh alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with the business strategy •
  • Self-motivated and teamwork oriented.
  • Fluent English (read, write and speak).

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
  • High school Graduation diploma in Mechanic (or related) •
  • Experience in a similar role/field. •
  • Use of 3D CAD software and PDM system to design, modify and manage Danfoss 3D models/assemblies, and 2D drawings. •
  • Use SAP to upload new and modified engineering documents and access existing product technical documentation and workflows.
  • Use the Danfoss system to manage engineering change requests for all product and documents modifications.
  • Understand and utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ANSI Y14.5M Standard •
  • Knowledge on assemblies and piping's' design. • Ability to work in a Global Environment. •
  • Ability to work independently and make necessary decisions. •
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to get to the source of problems and think critically regarding possible solutions
