CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER SR.

Coordinate, review and ensure compliance civil engineering guidelines, design criteria, specifications and standards during the development and execution of the basic and detailed civil engineering required for worldwide studies and projects, also considering the principles of health, safety, quality, cost and time; applying the methodologies, process and procedures of the civil engineering department.

·      LEVEL OF EDUCATION: Civil Engineering, Desirable Structural Engineering Master Degree

·      KNOWLEDGE OF PC PROGRAMS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, AutoCad general knowledge, Staad Pro, SAP 2000, Robot.

·      LANGUAGE:   English 90%

·      EXPERIENCE:  minimum 5 years:  Civil Engineering and Projects

                                 minimum 8 years:  Engineering firms

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

·      Active participation in project drafts through the preliminary execution of proposals for buildings, warehouses, and means of communication.

·      Elaborates preliminary and final scopes of process buildings, warehouses, offices, streets, railroad tracks, storm drains and sanitary drains, etc. to fulfill the investments budgets in the draft stages as well as the project.

·      Classifies and coordinates the application of all the civil engineering concepts in detailed form, applying the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) that will serve as a

base for the development of the project and the proper application of accounting charges.

·      Elaborates all the necessary information and documentation (requests, comparison

charts, recommendations, etc.), for the hiring of the detailed engineering and

services, based in specifications of the engineering department.

·      Coordinates, supervises and manages the making of the detailed civil engineering,

as well as the follow up of the schedules, which shall be completed according to the master schedule and correct any deviations that may occur.

·      Validate the calculations and designs made by the different engineering buffets.

·      Verify the compliance of norms, standards and design specifications of the designers and engineering buffets, through monitoring and assistance.

·      Participate in the implementation and permanent update of the civil area specifications.

·      Development of job concept catalogs for the bidding process and hiring for Construction.

·      Technical participation and support of the construction department regarding

construction situations that may be required during the construction process.

·      Assist training and development courses, to keep the performance of his function

updated.

·      Request necessary field information of the group plants or its subsidiaries, to give continuity to the projects, thus avoiding possible interferences in the installations of new utilities and upgrade of building positions or existing utilities.

·      Requests all the materials and civil services necessary for the projects.
