Industrialization

• To manage production equipment introduction using IPROM
  • To follow equipment or assembly lines development with the supplier
  • To design tools and validate the supplier proposal; the maintenance of the tooling and the Poka Yoke will be the responsibility of the maintenance department.
  • To define the acceptance criteria for new equipment or line
  • To perform pre acceptance and acceptance of the equipment
  • To perform trials on the lines and deliver reports
  • To build action plans and follow up to be ready for FDPR
  • To perform and/or collect, capabilities of equipments and process

  • Leader on PFMEA and accountable on CONTROL PLAN

  • Recommend new ideas and techniques to ensure project success

• Mass production

• Investigate welding related issues to improve product performance and increase productivity
• Develop repair procedures and assess flaws to determine the fitness-for-service of product
• Develop standards, materials, weld joint design, and welding processes
• Develop welding process procedure qualification, supplier qualification, and product testing
• Troubleshoot welding problems and provide corrective solutions
• To monitor QCDM and propose and implement improvement
• To survey the performance of equipment , and always in mind, optimization
• To work on Cycle time reduction to optimize investments, material & labor costs
• To support production technician ( training, analysis, problem solving)
• To participate to VPS workshop (examples: 5S, TPM, SMED, Continuous Hoshin, etc)
• To participe to APU QRQC
• To lead HC reduction projects
• To keep PFMEA, Process Flow, and all process documentation updated maintaining regular revisions
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Manage cost and time constraints
• Prioritize and develop projects based on critical needs
• Work with multi-functional team to achieve project goals
• Prioritize problem solving for chronic manufacturing issues driven by benefit cost analysis.
• Analyze and troubleshoot process problems so as to make continuous and permanent improvements
• Develop projects within the allocated timeline and budget
• Maintain Cpk for SPPC in a minimum of 1.67
• In charge of Robots improvements
• In charge of Welding System Assessment CQI-15 Audit

• Standardization

• Validate PG RAISE and VRF standards which are created by Standard Owners
• Validate any change of standard proposed by sites
• To know, apply and promote the standards ( PG, sites or corporate) in his domain
• To apply the VPS rules
• Perform risk assessments

• Environnement

• Service attitude team player
• Ensure the respect of Safety and Environment procedures of Valeo Group
• Maintain the 5S and report issues
• Alert for safety rules infringement
• Daily reporting activities and follow up with the objectives given by the N+1 (Hierarchical or Functional)
• Direct communication must be possible with N+1 (Hierarchical or Functional) during all labor hours a day, and can be extended in the case of any KPI risk, milestones, safety, scrap & productivity.
• Attitude to anticipate problems before they occur.

Experience: 3 to 4 years degree as minimum in the Automotive Industry. Desired Knowledge (production, maintenance, projects)
Education:

Engineering Degree ( Industrial, Mechanic- M. Administrator, etc.)

Bachelor's degree in welding engineering, welding engineering technology
