Individuals with demonstrated commercial success (marketing, sales, and market access/policy development), global and local launch experience, and vaccines/infectious disease backgrounds will be the foundation of our capability builds. Additional required experience includes knowledge across a broad base of external customers and stakeholders, effective cross-functional project team leadership, and generating commitment among stakeholders and deliver effective commercial strategies. As a Medical Manager you will be responsible for: Provide strategic and scientific support to the sales team ensuring the Field Medical Liaison team provides a timely and cost efficient service. Potentially supervise clinical trials and/or patient safety activities regionally. Ensure that all work is aligned with AstraZeneca standards and industry regulations. Handle relationships with healthcare professionals, sales professionals and other partners to develop a better understanding of their information needs and respond accordingly. Represent the field medical liaisons team at external events. Provide statistical, medical and scientific consultancy to support key meetings with internal and external partners. Coordinate and deliver education workshops with the community locally and medical groups as required. Experience & Expertise required: Bachelor's Degree in Medicine. Detailed knowledge or experience within the pharmaceutical industry and the area of medical liaisons. Lung Cancer or High Specialty experience Ability to handle data or requests in a timely manner and escalate when needed. Project and relationship management experience.
