Descripción

NTM is the leading portable rollforming manufacturer in the world and has been a part of the Mazzella Companies since 2015. Mazzella Companies is one of the largest independently owned companies in the overhead lifting and rigging industries and with over 1,100 team members across 45+ locations we are the humble leaders in the markets we serve.


NTM makes portable roll forming machines used to produce seamless gutters and metal roof and wall panels. We fabricate most of our own components and assemble all of our machines and tooling sets in both Hermosillo, Mexico and Aurora, Colorado.


Job duties:

  • Develop and implement strategies for effective materials management, including procurement, inventory control and distribution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production managers and purchasing teams, to determine material needs based on production schedules and anticipated demand.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and establish relationships to ensure a reliable and profitable supply chain.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, delivery times, and usage patterns to optimize inventory turns and avoid out-of-stock or overstock situations.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures, including barcode scanning and automated replenishment systems, to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, quality and costs, and initiate necessary corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as supplier consolidation, bulk purchasing, or alternative sourcing strategies.
  • Prepare and present reports to management on materials performance, including inventory levels, cost savings and supplier performance.


Background:

  • Experience of 3-5 years in the materials/warehouse area in manufacturing companies.
