This position will responsable for the follow up the Corporate HSE – Environmental & ISO 14001 Management System, to enable us to safeguard the integrity of the employees, the company´s assets and avoid/minimize environmental issues. 

Dimensions of Position:

• Supports compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Assists facility management with the implementation, maintenance, and updates of all HSE Standard, policies, formats, visual aids and procedures.
• Inspects facilities to detect existing or potential HSE hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.

Qualifications:

• Degree in environmental, chemical, or metallurgical Engineering.
• Master's degree preferred, from any field. Sustainability or Environmental Science a plus.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations. 
• Over eight years' experience in Health, Safety and Environmental, with deep knowledge of HSE Norms, regulations, and the related authorities at all levels. 
• Deep knowledge of incident investigation and reporting, ability to train at different levels and Mexican laws. 

Skills:

• Analysis of information for decision making.
• Use of computer software (MS Office).
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Effective communication.
