Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to work with various clients at our delivery center. Our mission at Apex Systems is providing Insights that Inspire. As a DevOps Engineer you will help achieve that mission by giving our clients consultative guidance and technical expertise.

• Responsibilities:
• Server provisioning and systems administration activities
• Deployment support
• Configuration management activities
• Support of CI/CD pipeline builds and enhancements
• Enhancement and maintenance of AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Cross-collaboration with Epson staff and internal customers
• Recommendations for automation opportunities in environment
• Alignment of work with required security standards and protocols
• Assistance with backlog burndown and operational tickets, as needed

• Qualifications:
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS or Azure DevOps
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Solid scripting including knowledge of Python or Bash
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or CloudFormation
• Understanding of CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
