Reporting directly to Supply Chain Manager, the Import & Export specialist, follow up and make sure the operations of Import & Export in time and cost while ensure the accomplishment of the legal requirements, documents and procedures related in IMMEX regimen into the shelter.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge in import Operations such IMMEX, Prosec, Rule 8th, Annex 24, Export operations, CTPAT / OEA, shipping & receival process, material management.
- Knowledge of Materials Logistics.
- Inventory management.
- Ensure that the receipt process is carried out by physically verifying the material vs. import invoices.
- Report all discrepancies found in the receipt process.
- Ensure that the documentation of goods prior to being imported has complete and correct information for the generation of import invoices.
- Carry out periodic reviews and/or inspections to control fixed assets within BTG facilities.
- Provide the technical sheets of the merchandise that are required, as well as the use and function formats for the correct tariff classification.
- Make sure to provide the Certificates of origin of the materials for the purposes of customs tax reduction.
- Generate export manifests or regime changes at waste value, for all merchandise output (Finished Product, Raw Materials, Machinery or equipment, Internal transfers, scrap).
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in Foreign Trade IMMEX and Logistics.
- Inventory control.
- Proven ability to meet operating pressures/deadlines while maintaining a positive work environment and exemplary customer service.
- Bilingual Spanish and English
- Exposure/knowledge to world-class employee engagement and retention practice
- Team player with very good interpersonal and communication skills
