Product Development Coordinator is the lead of a small product development team responsible for getting new products developed, tested, and introduce to our showrooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with merchandising and material planners to identify key product needs
• Work with suppliers to develop and test new products
• Identify key technical issues with current products and work with suppliers to improve performance
• Develop in-house tests that simulate product use and anticipate product problems prior to market introduction
• Work with manufacturing to introduce new products into production

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial preferred
• +4 - 8 years of relevant work experience, including product development, engineering, and project and team management
• Experience in consumer products
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong project management skills
• Hands-on and result-oriented
