Descripción

In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, and achieving/assisting in the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. You will actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on your interactions with prospects.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
  • Conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, internet, and in-person
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Create and deliver qualified opportunities to other team members
  • Daily prospecting activities, including cold calling and cold emailing
  • Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects; including cold-calling
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations
  • Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database
  • Keeping track of all prospecting activity metrics & presenting monthly metrics to leadership


Education/Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or Marketing preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience desired


Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:



  • Knowledge in the building design and/or construction industry preferred
  • Research experience is a plus with excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent sales and customer relationship skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Abilities to work independently, manage time wisely and prioritize tasks
  • Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Etc.)
