The Jr. Accountant Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, tracking, and managing financial data. This role involves working with Excel models, monitoring financial statements, tracking various performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with financial covenants. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and proficient in data entry and financial software, particularly Oracle.

Responsibilities:

? Accurately enter financial data into the Oracle system and generate reports.

? Ensure all financial data is up-to-date and correctly logged.

? Track financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting.

? Monitor and track census data, financial covenants, and performance metrics.

? Develop and run Excel models to support financial analysis and decision-making.

? Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets with current financial data.

? Generate and prepare various financial reports as required by management.

? Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

? Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data.

? Maintain organized records and files for easy access and retrieval.

Requirements

? High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

? Proven experience in data entry and financial tracking, ideally within an accounting or finance department.

? Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.

? Experience with Oracle or similar financial software systems.

? Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

? Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

? Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

? Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
