Job Summary

  • The INSIDE Sales Representative will increase the sales of a specific group of customers across all First Brands lines of products and services, (with initial focus on Hopkins products).


Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) will manage a group of approximately 300+ individual accounts of various sizes in the US geographic market. The ISR will focus on engaging the owners, purchasing agents, or buyers of their assigned accounts to understand the customer needs and drive sales of First Brands Products across the full range of available products.
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly call logs combined with a heavy utilization of a Customer Resource Management (CRM), and other tools such as email and online channels will enable the ISM to manage their day-to-day work to support sales growth and customer relationships.
  • The ISR is also responsible for ensuring customers are aware of available resources to help train their personnel on our products, (in-person / online / etc.).
  • The ISR will be given a price list which they will use to quote on new products and/or new customers.
  • The ISR will also be responsible for ensuring the account detail is up to date with contact information (primary and secondary contacts, email, telephone, websites, etc.), program terms, pricing, etc.
  • In situations where customer requests are outside of the ISR negotiation approval scope, he/she will engauge out to his/her manager for approval and/or direction.
  • The ISR will be given a set of weekly goals he/she must meet which will be reviewed monthly, (or as needed).


Education and/or Experience

  • English speaking required
  • Min associate degree and or experience equivalent.
  • Previous sales experience, (customer service, telemarketing experience a plus).
  • Automotive Aftermarket experience and knowledge preferred.
  • Strong level of computer literacy, Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) and CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, (track, process, file, manage, report, customer interactions). ? Must be able to handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to / from customers (existing / new).
  • A problem solver who is mindful of time limits; follows-up to ensure resolution.
  • Friendly, engaging, and works well under pressure, (maintains a calm demeanor when dealing with customers and/or internal team).
  • Works well independently and in a collaborative setting.
  • Goal driven and self-motivated.
