Communications Specialist
Job Responsibilities
Posts and maintainscommunications on electronic boards and websites related to events, programs,and departmental/institutional initiatives.
Provides routinecontent maintenance including creating new webpages, updating text, images, andvideo. Implements processes and guidelines to ensure web content is current andaccurate. Analyzes site effectiveness to continuously drive usage.
Develops content thatcan be deployed to enhance the awareness of organizational offerings. Supportsproject implementations using established communication strategies.
Participates in thedevelopment of end user feedback strategies including customer satisfactionsurveys and focus groups.
Writes various internaland external communications that may include writing, editing, marketing,blogging, and social media communication vehicles.
Education
Bachelor's Degree inrelated field
Experience
At least 2-3 years ofexperience in digital content and strategy
Advanced knowledge ofCMS (Content Management System)
Experience in videoediting is a strong plus, comfort with social media is a must.
Experience with digitalmarketing, social media, and web design platforms.
Experience in healthcare, education and/or mission-driven organizations a plus.
Excellent written andverbal communication skills
