Descripción

The Record to Report Manager is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the accounting activities and the month end closing process related to the Americas business acting as key point of contact for business and corporate teams.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage month end closing process for multiple entities ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to the corporate office. Through the close process, responsible to perform account balance reviews, key reconciliations, and address or escalate issues appropriately within the organization.

• Manage day to day accounting operations including questions from business and corporate teams with the flexibility to monitor and change priorities as needed.

• Ensure key controls are in place and operating effectively in the area of responsibility to comply with Sarbanes Oxley.

• Prepare and review periodic and ad hoc reports/analysis to all levels of management following up timely on questions.

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity for the data for which the team is responsible.

• Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations ensuring high level of quality.

• Work closely with other functional area managers like Account Payables, Accounts Receivable and the plant controller to address cross functional issues to resolution.

• Act as key point of contact for external and internal auditors coordinating requests within the team and cross functional when necessary.

• Drive continuous improvement in the area of responsibility and be seen as the key source of expertise from other teams.

• Provide directions to team members to ensure effectiveness and talent development.



Professional Experience

• 5 plus years' relevant experience

• 3 years supervisory experience

• Sarbanes-Oxley experience required

• Manufacturing; must have significant cost accounting experience



Education

• Bachelors' Degree Required in Accounting/Finance required.

• CPA strongly preferred

• English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
