The Role Particle Measuring Systems is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our rapidly growing FP&A department. As a member of our reporting team, this position will be responsible for the monthly/quarterly reporting to our global organization and will provide support as a business partner to the executive team to help them drive business growth and profitability. Specifically, this position will be the key business partner for our Engineering department and will assist Product Line Managers in the preparation of Business Cases for New Product Introduction Gate Reviews; as well as the key Business partner for our Operation departments. In addition, this position will work closely with the Power BI reporting team to analyze and validate Power BI reports/dashboards as they are issued to the global organization, as well as developing new Power Bi dashboards. This role is the perfect opportunity for someone who is detail oriented, enjoys problem solving, and can efficiently deliver quality analysis to the business. This position will report to the Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Specific Job Responsibilities: Prepares month-end reporting for the global organization. Forecasts and budgets overhead costs. Analyzes and provides commentary on reporting variances versus prior year, budget and forecast. Acts as a finance business partner to our executive team by providing backward and forward looking analysis. Develops new analysis to adapt to our ever-changing environment and high growth. Partners with the Power BI team in the development of new dashboards, as well as the validation of existing ones. Participates in New Product Introduction Gate Reviews, assists in building business cases Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis required – business partner for engineering Excellent English communication skills Power bi skils Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or applicable field required Ability to coordinate and project manage with multiple stakeholders across the business required Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Proven ability to work with large data sets required Strong social skills to articulate key business and financial impacts of data required Excellent organization skills with high attention to detail General understanding of ERP and reporting systems required Accounting knowledge required Experience with Power BI and SQL databases preferred The Nuts and Bolts Location – This is a Work From Home position 4 days out of 5. The candidate needs to be residing in Monterrey and will be required to go 1 day a week at the office. Travel –Domestic or international Travel may be required How we determine what we pay (compensation philosophy) Particle Measuring Systems determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for the Boulder, Colorado area. We will evaluate external equity, which is the relative marketplace job worth of jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. For new hires, we try to make competitive offers between the minimum and around the midpoint of the range. This allows the new employee room for future merit increases during review cycles. There may be times when we will offer above the midpoint. The decision to do so will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and the compensation rates of the employees within the company doing the same position.
