• 10 years of strong Data Science experience preferably in CPG domain
• Educational Background: B Tech/ B Stat / Masters / PhD
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mexico City or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Strong execution capability in developing Machine Learning/Analytical models. Enhance and create advanced processes/procedures and may recommend new tools/technologies.
• Gen AI-Should have adequate experience in Gen AI - Fine Tuning & Evaluating Large Language Models, Strategies for Parallelizing Large Language Models, Parameter Efficient Fine Tuning-PEFT, Text Embeddings using Large Language Models, Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback

Job responsibilities

• Able to drive workshops and requirements discussion in Spanish with business SME
• Understand and define use-cases along with the Business SME. Ensures client needs are met throughout by translating it to Data Science problem; defines scope and approach; articulates business value out of the Insights from the ML/Analytics algorithms
• Gather and process information about large programs/projects – able to define roadmap and strategy for value realization
• Able to create scope for a POC where applicable to de-risk big bang
• Develop Analytics and Machine Learning models using latest approaches.
• Create detailed project plans and make sure of re-use of components.
• Apply predefined quality measurement framework at individual level tasks in a project
• Participate in hands-on delivery and execution of the project and delivery on time.
• Development of scripts for data pre-processing (cleaning, transformation, outlier detection), feature creation and develop/test machine learning algorithms
• Develop Analytics and Machine Learning models using a combination of state-of-the-art approaches
• Define analytics solution specific to the pricing, promotions process etc
