Johnson Electric is excited to announce we are now recruiting for an EHS Manager for our Zacatecas Facility. The EHS Manager will be responsible for applicable legal compliance in matters of: air, water, soil, waste, chemical substances and Industrial safety, as well as managing and implementing monitoring activities and improvement strategies through the Environmental Management System.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Control of hazardous waste manifests, special handling and urban solids.
• Generate a report of local and corporate environmental and safety metrics.
• Manage the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and implementation and monitoring on site.
• Manage the ISO 45001 Occupational Safety and Health Management System and implementation and monitoring on site.
• Safety incidents follow up
• Maintenance of records of EHS evaluations in the plant, as well as department documentation on environmental matters.
• Design, create and implement environmental and safety campaigns in the plant.
• Keep Management informed about legal compliance and SGA performance
• Administration of medical department

Our requirements:

• +5 years of experience from similar industrial environment & similar position
• University degree in Engineering
• Fluency in English
• Experience handling legal procedures
• Knowledge with safety, environmental & health legislation
• Autonomous, organized, polyvalent and motivated personality
• Be able to relocate to Zacatecas
