ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
- Support Finance & Internal audit requirements using Inventory control standard process where possible and customized solutions where necessary.
- Assure collaboration between planning, warehouse, and production teams to reach highest accuracy level.
- Management and Development of Sr. Scheduler, Plant direct reports.
- Ensure inventory control plans 100%.
- Work in coordination with Manufacturing and Quality teams on changes or deviations required.
- Assure maintaining inventory accuracy and Policy according to Internal Audit Requirements.
- Develop strategies for new cycle count plans.
- Analyze inventory forecast for inventory levels and inventory turns.
- Trainer & Coach for Schedulers Sr. and Inventory control Team.
- Follow up critical issues following consistently escalation path and avoiding omissions.
- Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style to escalate critical issues and report results.
- Ask questions; encourage input from team members and provide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department.
- Interview and hire inventory personnel and communicate criteria to recruiters for inventory control position candidates.
- Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.
- Adhere to all environmental, safety, and health rules and regulations associated with this position.
- Comply to and follow all procedures within the Polaris Inventory and security policy.
- Lead according to GPTW, PSP and PPS Standards.
