As a TA Ops Specialist for The Hershey Company's, you will be responsible for Pre-employment, Onboarding and Hiring support including managing background check, drug screening, localization, and onboarding processing for a high volume of hires in both salaried and labor positions in United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. It takes a process-oriented person with a high level of business acumen to handle the details in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor background check status changes and ensuring pending new hires are cleared to start or manage start date changes when necessary.
  • Monitor drug screen tests and ensuring pending new hires are cleared to start or manage start date changes when necessary.
  • Administration of the US I9 process (Employment Eligibility verification).
  • Work with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to send communications on first day expectations to new hires and with Talent Acquisition, HR, Legal or Compensation teams to follow escalation procedures when required on any of the processes mentioned above.
  • Participate in the design, on-going improvement, and execution of the pre-employment and onboarding activities when required.
  • Review offer's details form received from hiring manager; liaison with recruiter as needed for clarifications and data gaps.
  • Generate offer letter and distribute to candidate using DocuSign/email.
  • Update candidate profile in CRM (SFs) throughout offer and pre-hire diligence process.
  • Manage pre-hire logistics and notifications (new hire paperwork, manager notifications).
  • Manage candidate reimbursements.
  • Overseeing the creation of offer letters in conjunction with Compensation and Talent Acquisition. This includes executive offer letters and consulting with legal on non-standard offer letters and background check results.
  • Process advertising and vendor invoices, ensuring correct billing and processing against proper cost centers. Initiate candidate relocation and authorizations.
  • Lead interview scheduling by coordinating multiple schedules working with candidates, hiring managers, executive assistants, and Talent Acquisition.


Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience in recruiting or Human Resources. Campus recruiting experience preferred
