As a Head of Laboratory you will ensure the control of the paint coating process and comply with EHS processes at Querétaro Plant.

You will report directly to the Quality Coordinator!

Key Responsibilities

• You will manage inventories, material purchases, laboratory supplies, among others.
• Ensure product quality through process control.
• You will keep track of the EHS programs that are in place.
• Ensure legal compliance with WWT and EHS requirements.
• Ensure compliance with IATF requirements.
• Develop understanding of fundamental principles and root cause analysis.
• You will provide maintenance to the stages of the coating application process
• You will have direct contact with areas such as: Production, Quality, Shipping, Maintenance, Administrative, Management, EHS, Finance.

Qualifications

• Chemical, Industrial Engineering with process knowledge.
• 5 years of experience in Coatings or similar positions.
• Intermediate English.
• Office Software: Word, Excel (graphics and interpretation), PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in handling chemical substances.
• Knowledge in membrane treatment, filtration systems, agitation systems.
• Knowledge in security programs (desirable).
