About the role

• Establishes elements of commodity / account management and strategic sourcing plans.
• Develops supply chain standards and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc.
• Approves the selection of suppliers to meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
• Establishes strategy for negotiating awards contracts, specifying spending limits and qualified sources of supply.
• Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs.
• Reviews and recommends supply markets to source for the best practices.
• Directs negotiations with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices, and to determine the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability and ability to meet required schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr Sourcing Mgr, you'll be responsible for:

• Provide strategic leadership and category oversight to include sourcing strategy execution, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targets.
• Manage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and monitor supplier contract negotiations.
• Develop Consulting preferred supplier program.
• Operational and spend analysis, development and execution of annual sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management & operational support.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout every level of the organization, that results in dynamic interactive dialogue on a broad range of perspectives and information critical to identify sourcing needs and leading to the development of optimal approaches and solutions.
• Develop deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value and bring innovation to the business.
• Identifies business demand requirements and partners with Business Units to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage.
• Responsible for overall relationship with multiple strategic accounts across a given category.
• Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature.
• Ensures supplier or commodity is performing to the designed requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective through established governance programs.
• Identify, develop and direct the implementation of supply chain goals and category strategies, based on deep subject matter expertise and an understanding of industry/market dynamics.
• Escalate issues that may impact the supply chain organization and effectively manages issues.
• Strong project management capabilities to support effective initiative, program and spend tracking.
• Committed to supporting supplier diversity and other important supply chain initiatives.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are Sr Sourcing Mgr. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• 8 to 10 years of experience as a Supply Chain Mgr or Sr Sourcing Mgr.
• Bachelor´s Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Mgm, IT Digital or related.
• Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
• ARIBA (Avanced).
• Excel mandatory (Avanced).
• Advanced English.
